Founded in 2018 Magnitude BioSciences are a specialist Contract Research Organisation (CRO) who help industry and academia progress their research projects via a team of expert scientists, C. elegans services and unique automated imaging technology. Helping biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical companies, health products companies, manufacturing (including agri-manufacturing and green manufacturing) and anyone else doing Research and Development (R&D) who benefit from C. elegans healthspan technology and expertise.

The Position- Chief Commercial Officer

Magnitude Biosciences is seeking a new CCO to oversee the company's operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, be capable of fostering a positive company culture, and have experience in the Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry. Key responsibilities include driving business growth, expanding the client base, developing commercial strategies, leading sales and marketing teams, and maintaining strong relationships with industry partners. The CCO will collaborate with the CEO and other departments within the organization to achieve short and long-term goals. The candidate should have a proven track record of success in the commercial sector, strong negotiation skills, the ability to make wise decisions, and excellent team management abilities.

Key Selection Criteria and Behaviours' Sought

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline and/or MBA.
• Prior experience working in a CRO.
• Strong track record of success in the commercial sector.
• Experience in a senior management position.
• Knowledge of the industry and network in the industry.
• Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and the workforce.
• Proven negotiation skills.
• Ability to quickly understand new issues and make wise decisions.
• Ability to inspire confidence and create trust.
• Innate ability to work under pressure, effectively plan workload, and delegate.
